Yes, there are other estimators that can be used for the same data analysis such as dynamic OLS (DOLS), fully modified OLS(FMOLS), etc. However, these estimators have some limitations which ARDL does not. For example, with DOLS and FMOLS, you can only estimate the long-run coefficients without the short-run coefficients. While, with ARDL you can obtain both. Also, unlike DOLS, FMOLS and other similar estimators, ARDL can be used whether all the variables are integrated of order (0), (1), or mixed. overall, ARDL has more strengths than other similar estimators that can be used here.
